Radium Hot Springs (pop. 775) is an idillic mountain village located west of Kootenay National Park which provides a grand welcome to the Columbia River Valley. Drive past the famous hot springs and mineral pools to sweeping vistas of the Columbia River and Purcell Mountains. Radium is a short three-hour drive from Calgary through some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.

Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, Kimberly Alpine Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, and Panorama Mountain Resort provide a full season of fun and activities. Ski the fresh powder on the slopes or by helicopter into the backcountry. Our style of snowmobiling is steep and deep! In summer, free music is everywhere and the Columbia Valley car show draws people from the Northwest to show off their rides.
